Sunday’s Poetry Post

Identity

I’ve had enough

Of this life

Each day rough,

Nothing but strife.

Been cast aside,

Cheated and lied.

Convicted before tried,

A home denied.

Do not hide,

Stand up tall.

Find your stride,

Love accepts all.

About John Northcutt Young

I write. Remember making-up stories from spelling words in the fifth grade. A journalism degree followed. Thanks for looking.
