Behind Me

Too often I get caught up worrying about the sales of my books and forget why I write. Thankfully something comes along to remind me.

A friend finished reading IN MEMORY OF. Boosted my ego with some flattering remarks, but what was said next stilled my soul. He works at Hospice and had been reading it aloud. The words triggered thoughts of the listener’s life.

And touching another is what writing is all about.
