Behind Me

I admit it. I scramble up facts of my life and sprinkle them into my fiction. Have a suspicion that most writers do.

Did a short story about a writer who can’t get published. Decides to end his suffering and write a note. During the process realizes why he writes. Self-discovery reached à la It’s A Wonderful Life inspired by “The Greatest Gift” inspired by “A Christmas Carol” inspired by Second Report of the Children’s Employment Commission.

See? Everything goes in and comes out in a new way.

For all of us.

About John Northcutt Young

I write. Remember making-up stories from spelling words in the fifth grade. A journalism degree followed. Thanks for looking.
