Silence Speaks Louder

Words aren’t enough

When life’s rough.

We say much

With a touch.

Sit in peace,

Let words cease.

An unspoken word

Is better heard.

Take a stand,

Hold my hand.

Burdens you share

Lighter to bear.

Talk is cheap,

Silence runs deep.

Words are weak

When hearts speak.

About John Northcutt Young

I write. Remember making-up stories from spelling words in the fifth grade. A journalism degree followed. Thanks for looking.
